Chede Wirshing McKinney
Colored Pencil Artist
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she moved to Altamonte Springs, Florida in 1983. Having a deep love for art, she started classes at the Arteriors Gallery. She has studied with Jerry Yarnell, Gary Jenkins, Brenda Harris, Robert Warren and Helen Van Wyck.
Now in Clermont, Chede has also taken classes with Rico, Kathy Camara, Beth Kreutz, Keith Meyers, & Mary Beth Lesko at the South Lake Art League and Teresa Pennington of North Carolina. She studied Acrylics, Oils, Drawing, Pastels, and Colored Pencils. Working in the Colored Pencil medium for over 4 years she has decided that it is her medium of choice. She is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and the South Lake Art League.
